Formación basada en webinars: un estudio exploratorio de aplicación de las TIC en educación superior
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo examinar el papel de la formación a distancia virtual, al ser la posible mejor alternativa a la necesidad de formación permanente que apunta el Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior y atendiendo a la evolución contínua de las TIC.
Bajo este constructo, se realiza un estudio exploratorio a 60 alumnos de Ingeniería Industrial, en base a las percepciones obtenidas después de varias sesiones de webinars (seminarios vía web).
El grupo experimental aporta información empírica relevante sobre la eficiencia de los webinars, apuntando que podría ser el escenario más adecuado para esa necesidad de formación continua.

This research aims to examine the role of virtual distance learning as the best alternative in response to the need of lifelong learning. It targets the scope of the European Higher Education Area beneath the continuous evolution of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Under this objective, the autho performed an exploratory study of 60 students of Industrial Engineering Degree; this was based upon the insights gained after several sessions of webinars.
The study yielded a result by which the experimental group provided pertinent information about the efficiency of the webinars. It was pointing towards the direction by which webinars may seem to be the most appropriate requirement for training.
